Educational Purpose — Not a Fatwa Service

Halalify Music is an educational tool that summarizes documented Islamic scholarly positions. It is not a fatwa service and does not provide personal religious rulings. The verdicts produced by Halalify are AI-generated summaries of published jurisprudential frameworks and should not be treated as religious authority. For a personal ruling on a specific matter, consult a qualified Islamic scholar of your chosen school or tradition.

Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree not to use Halalify for any unlawful purpose, to attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape the service at scale, or to submit content that is defamatory, harmful, or in violation of applicable law.

Subscriptions and Billing

Free accounts have daily and monthly usage limits shown in the app. Paid subscriptions raise those limits and unlock additional features; current limits are shown in the app. On iOS, Halalify Pro is sold as an auto-renewable subscription through Apple In-App Purchase. It renews until you cancel it, and you cancel it from your Apple subscription settings; cancelling stops the next renewal. Web checkout is not available yet. There is no card on file, no billing portal, and nothing to cancel on the web. This paragraph will change when web payment opens. We will email you before any price increase takes effect on your subscription. Purchases made through Apple follow Apple's refund process, and Apple's terms govern them. Statutory cancellation and refund rights that apply where you live are unaffected by anything in this section.

Intellectual Property

The Halalify platform, branding, and original content (including editorial articles on this site) are owned by Halalify Music. Primary-source Islamic texts quoted on this site are in the public domain or reproduced under fair use for educational commentary. Copyright: if you believe content on the service infringes your copyright, email support@halalifymusic.com with the details required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3); we remove infringing material and terminate repeat infringers' accounts.

Limitation of Liability

Halalify Music is provided "as is." We make no warranties that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Halalify Music shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and is not responsible for religious or personal decisions made based on its analyses. Halalify Music's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, or $50 if you paid nothing. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty or liability exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Third-Party Services

The service relies on third-party providers (Supabase, Stripe, Apple, Google, Groq, OpenRouter, ACRCloud, PostHog, music-metadata databases). Their availability and terms are theirs, not ours. For iOS purchases and app use: this agreement is between you and Halalify Music, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, is not responsible for product, intellectual-property, or legal-compliance claims related to the app, and may enforce these terms against you as a third-party beneficiary. You are responsible for complying with any other agreements that apply to your device or data plan.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. Contact support@halalifymusic.com with any questions.
